Shipping:

When will my item ship?

-Premade items: Orders placed on Tuesday -Sunday will ship on Monday. Orders placed on Mondays will ship the following Monday.

-Made to order: Please allow 2-4 weeks for your item to be hand-crafted and shipped.

-Commissions: Each commission order will be different and therefore timelines will vary. Contact me via email to learn more!

Who is your shipping carrier?

-All orders will be shipped via USPS priority mail.

What if my package arrives damaged?

-Great care is taken to pack each item so that it arrives safely. Boxes will be marked as fragile and/or heat sensitive, and all items will be wrapped and padded with the utmost care. Unfortunately, once the package leaves shop it is impossible to guarantee a safe journey and Fortitude Ceramics is not responsible for damage that occurs once the item leaves shop. If you do have an issue with how your item has been handled, please send an email containing photos of the damage to fortitudeceramics@gmail.com.

How do I take care of my purchase?

-Because each item is unique, please refer to the care instructions which have been included in the description of each item on the shop page.

Are bowls, plates, mugs, etc. dishwasher safe?

-Most functional items (except for those with wooden/hemp components) are technically dishwasher safe, although I always recommend hand washing for best longevity. This information is also included under each item description.

Are bowls, plates, mugs, etc. microwave safe?

-Most functional items (except for those with wooden/hemp components) are microwave safe. However, NO items are safe for stovetop and/or oven use. This information is also included under each item description.

Returns / Refunds:

Can I return my item for a refund, or exchange my item for another?

-At this time, all items listed are final sale only. This could change in the future, so please check back frequently for updates.

Emails and Shop Updates:

I’ve sent an email. When can I expect a reply?

-Fortitude’s email is checked daily at noon Monday-Friday. Emails sent after 12:00 noon PST Monday-Thursday will be read the following day. If an email is sent after 12:00 noon PST on Friday, then it will be read the following Monday. National Holidays are an exception. I will work to respond to emails as quickly as possible.

How do I find out about shop updates?

If there are shop updates, they will usually be made Fridays at 12:00 noon PST. Updates include new inventory being added to the shop, as well as other changes. Shop update information will also routinely be posted on Instagram in the bio, so check in regularly for updates!

Is there a newsletter I can follow?

For now, no newsletters are sent out but this may change very soon. Check back for updates!
